We're Here to Help
Our team of enrollment counselors and other advisers are here to help you find the degree program that's right for you, apply for admission, and walk you through the financial aid process.
Connect with an enrollment counselor to discuss which program best fits your needs, apply for admission, talk through the financial aid process, or answer other questions you have about Capella University.
Your enrollment counselor has extensive and ongoing training in your field of study and can offer insight about courses, career paths, and the skills in demand by employers.
Many of our enrollment counselors are also Capella students or alumni and can speak with first-hand knowledge about what to expect here. When you are ready, it is easy to connect with an enrollment counselor. Just call us at 1.866.679.9682, e-mail us or sign up to receive more information.
Our diverse team of counselors runs the full gamut — from pre-enrollment through
graduation and beyond. Once enrolled here, you will be assigned to an academic adviser
to support you as you navigate your advanced degree at Capella.
We recognize that you are a unique individual with your own specific goals, vision and educational needs. During your academic journey at Capella, our mission is to help you fully understand your underlying motivations as you carve your own path.
Supporting your career and professional development is a top priority for us. As an alum, you will enjoy a multitude of alumni lifetime benefits, including access to the library, Career Center, and professional development courses.
Armed Forces Support
Capella University provides support and resources to our students who are veterans, active duty servicemembers, DOD employees, or their immediate family members. We assist with VA benefits, tuition assistance programs, and GoArmyEd, and help students pursue their educational goals while serving in the military. We are proud to offer military benefits, including a 10-15% tuition discount, credit for military training, flexible leave, and more.
After you graduate from Capella, we will continue to support you and your career — forever. For career assistance as a current student or alum, simply log onto Capella's virtual campus, called iGuide, to access our free resources and to receive personalized support from a career counselor. You can also learn more about our Career Center as a prospective student, or visit the Capella Career Center's YouTube page.
You may be surprised to learn that not all learning at Capella takes place online. Many of our graduate-level students participate in colloquia, in-person learning experiences supported by our knowledgeable and responsive faculty and support staff. These events are a required component of most doctoral programs and some master's programs in counseling and psychology.
Commencement & Events
Capella students inspire us every day. We love to hear the tremendous personal stories of strength, sacrifice and successes our students share with us at every commencement and other events. We hope to hear your story soon, too.
We provide access, accommodations and advocacy for Capella students with disabilities. This includes online course room considerations, such as accessible textbooks and additional time on learning activities, and residential colloquia support, including sign language interpreters and mobility assistance. To learn more about our disability services policies and procedures or how to request academic accommodations, call us at 1.888.879.6745.
